Inter-School Debating (WA Debating)

Registrations for the WADL Interschool Debating competition are now open. Year 7/8 boys wishing to register should pick up a registration form from Middle School Reception. There will be an information session held on Tuesday 9 February at 8.00am in Miss Mullin's classroom for those boys who would like more information on WADL.

The WADL competition is generally held on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings between 6:30pm and 8.00pm at CCGS, Shenton College or other schools in the area. There are five rounds of debates that are held fortnightly from Week 7 this term (Summer) and through next term (Autumn), with the finals being in Winter term. Boys should form teams of 4-5 students. Please indicate the names of boys in your team if known, otherwise boys will be assigned to a team by Middle School staff. WADL is only open to boys in Year 7 and 8 and they will compete in the Novice category. Registrations close at the end of Week 2 - Friday 12 February. Weekly study sessions will commence in Week 3A every Tuesday from 7.30am - 8.30am.
