AGM - Tuesday 27 October 2015

All parents are invited to attend our AGM on Tuesday evening 27 October in the School's Dining Room Annex. Refreshments will be served at 7pm, with a meeting commencement of 7.45pm. We are currently seeking nominations for Treasurer and Secretary. The AGM will be followed by an ordinary monthly meeting. Come along and find out how your PA levies help fund a variety of projects at Scotch throughout the year. All parents are very welcome - even if not nominating for positions! Year 10 Chinese Banquet

The Year 10 parent function at the Shun Fung restaurant near the Barrack Street Jetty on 18 September was a great success, with more than 160 parents attending. The event coincided with the showcase of the Year 10 Personal Projects and a celebratory river cruise afterwards for the Year 10 boys, who were joined by Year 10 girls from PLC, MLC and St Mary's. Scotch parents had exclusive use of the restaurant, the menu was excellent and the evening was most enjoyable.

Year 9 Parent Cocktails

The annual Year 9 PA/SA cocktail event was held during the last week of Term Three on 22 September on a beautiful, balmy night. Parents were welcomed by two Year 9 boys playing their bagpipes and the venue was the fabulous new Scotch Gallery. Seventy parents enjoyed delicious canapés prepared by Scotch catering. The guests enjoyed catching up with old and new Year 9 parents, whilst viewing some of the splendid art on display in the Gallery. Three lucky parents were the winners of fabulous door prizes - a good night had by all!

Year 8 Parent Cocktails

Our Year 8 Parent Cocktail function was a great success, with 64 attending. The venue was the beautiful new Scotch Gallery and, with Middle School artworks still on display, the Gallery worked really well as a venue for our function on 23 September. As always, Scotch catering provided delicious canapés, special thanks to Claire Tuffin and Kelly Carlton in Catering. Thanks to Richard Ledger, Head of Middle School, who handed out the three door prizes won on the night. Thanks also to Mel Colling in Administration and Year 12 Piper David Graham, who did a terrific job of welcoming parents.
