French News
Bonjour! Well we certainly have a wonderful collection of budding meteorologists in the School! The classes have been working very well with their weather chart each lesson and are already remembering a host of new weather words. We have been lucky with such a variety of spring weather lately that many of the descriptions are being used already. One weather suggestion though, is being met with hoots of laughter from the boys… "Il neige" (it's snowing) has had it's validity on our weather chart questioned altogether! But I assured the students that should they ever travel to France on holiday, they may well need a way to describe the 'white stuff' they encounter! For those of you working on the days of the week and months of the year at home, I am including a great game on this week's wiki that will help you to learn the vocabulary in a fun way. It is a game of two or more players, and you'll need a dice to play. Just print off the game board and play it at home for revision with your children! (no points deducted for bad pronunciation!) Here are some of our weather students completing their chart at School. Au revoir, Madame Vinton.
