As part of the Performing Arts Programme boys in Years 2, 3 and 4 were treated to an inspiring concert presented by The Rhythm Works titled iPercussion on Friday 4 September.

Garbage cans and GarageBand, scrap metal and iPads. iPercussion combined the most fundamental elements of music with some of the best technology available. Equipped with tuned and untuned percussion, an iPad and a loping machine, The Rhythm Works helped our boys compose music that was recorded, looped and used to create an interactive percussion performance. The boys played junk and real instruments and helped to compose their own original pieces. I have a feeling we'll be having a few boys asking for their own set of boomwhackers or drum lessons after this concert!
