2015 Jigalong Cross-Cultural Tour, May 28 - June 1
Expressions of interest are now open for the 2015 Jigalong Cross-Cultural Tour. Boys will spend 5 days in the remote Aboriginal community of Jigalong, around 160kms east of Newman. They will spend time at the local school and have an overnight camping experience with local elders to learn about Martu people and their relationship with the land. Boys will also be given the opportunity to learn from the famous MartuMilli artist group and create a painting that tells the story of their journey. The Tour is open for interested boys from Years 10-12. Please contact Mr Jordan Owenell JJOwenell@scotch.wa.edu.au for any information.
