Bonjour! The Year 5 boys made "Boules au Chocolat" during French class this term. They had to follow a recipe written entirely in French in order to make their delicious biscuits. This work allowed us to look at the use of the imperative verbs in French that are often used when writing steps to follow in a recipe. The boys also watched a video with a French chef using a recipe. They had to listen closely to pinpoint the verbs and ingredients that were being used. It was a messy but wonderful experience and I can say that the boys and I had a wonderful time. Bon appétit!
