Year 6 Lancelin Surfing Expedition

In Weeks 3 and 4 of Spring Term the Year 6 classes travel to Lancelin for a Surfing Expedition, which is part of their Outdoor Education Programme. During their time on programme students build on their understanding of beach safety and surf awareness while developing their confidence in a marine environment. They take part in two surfing lessons, a campout in tents and gain a real insight into the history surrounding Lancelin and characteristics of the area and surrounding ecosystems.
