The 3C boys have enjoyed our current unit of inquiry, 'How we express ourselves', immensely. They were lucky enough to view the impressive IPSHA Art Exhibition at Santa Maria College. Another highlight was our 'Art Hunt' around the school where the boys took photographs of art they found. They were surprised to discover the large amount of artwork that is around Scotch College and made Pic Collages of their favourite pieces. The boys have proven themselves to be talented photographers. They took beautiful portraits of their peers and learned how to edit the photographs to perfection. The portraits made thoughtful gifts for Father's Day. The boys have enjoyed learning about famous art from around the world such as Matisse's cut-outs and Van Gogh's Sunflowers. Term 3 has certainly flown past quickly and the boys should feel very proud of all the wonderful work they have completed.
