French News
In order to make links to the "Where we are in place and time" unit of inquiry; the Year 5 classes have been researching French speaking countries around the world. We began by looking into la Francophonie, an international organisation uniting French speaking countries around the world. The boy's work will shed light on how the French language migrated to these different places through colonisation and migration and will be presented in the form of a brochure which will also highlight cultural elements which have been left by the French influence in these countries.
