Relationships Australia is holding several parenting seminars this term.
Parent Teen Connection
We have all gone through adolescence - do we remember? It has always been a challenging, sometimes frustrating period of life's journey. Thankfully, today's parents are usually more inclined to listen. Living with teenagers can be confusing and even worrying, but also rewarding. This course reduces stress and teaches parents to communicate, negotiate and minimise conflict.

Fathering after Separation
It's important for fathers to distinguish between their parenting role and their relationship break-up. This seminar, held in a male-friendly environment, suggests helpful ways to keep in touch with your child to build skills and to recognise strengths and weaknesses.

Nuts and Bolts of Being a Dad
A Dad is very important in a child's life. This three week course looks at some of the building blocks a single or partnered Dad can use to develop solid relationships with his children. How to interact, participate and communicate will be discussed.

Dads Raising Teenage Boys
Raising teenage boys can be challenging but there can also be exceptional times of fun and closeness. The Dads Raising Boys workshop is designed to assist fathers and father figures navigate their way through the teen years to help build positive relationships and strong, positive young men for the future.

Change and Loss - A Man's Way
Men tend to deal with change and loss differently to women but is there such a thing as the 'right' way to navigate the journey through a grief experience? This workshop will look at the many types of losses in a man's life.

Kids and Today's Technology
This seminar is for parents of kids between ages 2 and 18 years. Technology is now being used by very young children and most teenagers are proficient users of many aspects of technology. Your knowledge of what's out there, how it's being used and how you manage it in your home will have a direct impact on your kids' learning and safety.
