Bonjour parents et élèves! Welcome back to a new and exciting school year. We aim to link our work in French class, whenever possible, to the units of inquiry of the Primary Years Programme being taught during the term. Some units will also be co-planned with the classroom teachers to allow for a deeper connection with the transdisciplinary theme. In Summer Term, French lessons for classes in years 1 to 4 will focus on making connections the Units of Inquiry studied in class. In year 5, our work will be focused around a Unit of Inquiry specific to the French curriculum. Participation during lesson time is important, as it is the key time for boys to be immersed in the language.
