Mothers' Auxiliary

Our busy year is coming to an end.

I would like to thank the many helpers we had to set up and help with Valedictory Dinner on November 29. Thanks to all the 2013 Year 11 boys who helped on the night, the dinner would not be possible without you. Special thanks to the 2013 Year 11 parents who gave up their Friday evening.

Our final Year 7 Transition Breakfast is on December 5 commencing at the Middle School Reception at 7.30. Many thanks to the Middle School representatives Jane Crump and Louise Jones for the mammoth task of organising this celebration.

Please check the Mothers' Auxiliary intranet site for photos of our recent events.

Could all the Junior School and Middle School Representatives organise their replacements for next year, we hope to get the guidelines booklet completed early in Term 1.

We require Middle School representatives for the Mothers' Auxiliary Committee and are still requiring representatives for 2014 for Years 11, 9 and 8 please email soniamwee@gmail.com if you can fill any of these positions.

We also require someone to take over from Nicki Berry who has been looking after the Mothers' Auxiliary Room. We thank Nicki for her many years in that job and it's going to be hard to replace her.

We also require a Vice President for Mothers Auxiliary for 2014. It would mean that you would be president in 2015. If you can help out in either of these positions could you email clairstanley@iinet.net.au

I would like to thank Sonia Wee and Lisa Gagiero for all their help and support this year. Our Mothers' Auxiliary couldn't work without them.

I am thinking about changing the times of the Mothers' Auxiliary meetings to the evenings and I welcome any comments either way about this change. We would still hold it in the Gooch Pavilion at around 7.30pm on a Monday or Tuesday night or even alternating between day and evening. Please feel free to let me know if this would be a good idea or not at clairstanley@iinet.net.au

Thanks to the Mothers' Auxiliary members for this year and I look forward to working with you all again in 2014, Merry Christmas and peaceful New Year.
