Primary Years Programme (PYP)

2013 Reflections

A full academic year is almost behind us, it's time to pause and reflect. 2013 was busy! Busy, productive and hugely enjoyable. My firm impression after my first 12 months is that Scotch is a great place to work and learn. It is an incredibly supportive learning community for all, which is reflective of the type of community advocated by the IB.

The boys have worked hard throughout the year and we have watched them grow in so many ways. We are proud of our boys and their learning.

The staff have also worked hard throughout the year, collaborating across the Junior School to ensure each boy is receiving the best holistic education we can offer. It is a privilege to work with such a passionate and dedicated group of professionals.

As this is our last newsletter for the year, I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Year 5 boys all the very best for their exciting journey into the Middle School and the IB Middle Years Programme.

I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and I look forward to seeing you all in 2014.
