Thank you to all the helpers we had at Year 8 Orientation Morning Tea. It was a lovely morning on the lawns at The Residence and a great introduction to our Senior School community for our new parents at Scotch.
Preparations have begun for the 2014 Year 12 Ball. The theme is Year of the Dragon and tickets are on sale through "Book a Scotch Event" on the web site. Please get your tickets before the end of the year as this will help the organisers enormously.
We are seeking some parent help with the Ball and if you think you have some time can you email clairstanley@iinet.net.au
We are busy organising Parent Reps for 2014 and have the new reps for Senior School in transition this term. However we do need volunteers for 2014 Year's 8, 9 and 11. If you can be a rep could you email soniamwee@gmail.com with your contact details.
The Junior School Boys Christmas Lunch is on November 20 in the Dining Room. If you have any questions please contact either Sarah at lodge.sarah@me.com or Claire at claire@austwide.com.au
Valedictory Dinner is on November 29 and if you have some time during the morning, please come to the Dickinson Centre to help the setup. It's a sit down dinner for nearly 550 people so we can't have too many helpers. As with tradition, the Year 11 (2013) Parents help with the dinner on the night. Please email soniamwee@gmail.com if you can help.
